Do I need marketing experience to use it?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. You simply choose a business goal, and SocialMetis' AI generates the creatives, targeting, and campaign structure for you. It optimizes performance automatically and reports results in plain language.

Question 3

Do I need my own Facebook Page and ad account already?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SocialMetis connects to the Facebook and Instagram Pages and ad accounts you already own — it doesn't replace them or create a new business identity for you. You authorise that connection once, and you can revoke it at any time from your Meta or Google account settings. If you don't have a Page yet, our step-by-step guide covers setting one up.

Which platforms can I advertise on?

Accepted Answer

You can create and publish campaigns to Facebook, Instagram, and Google, all from one place, and manage them together. You can also connect a WhatsApp Business Account for messaging, which is governed by its own policy.

Is there an iPhone app?

Accepted Answer

Not today. SocialMetis is currently an Android app and is a free download on Google Play. If you're on iOS, message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you when that changes rather than have you keep checking back.

How fast can I launch a campaign?

Accepted Answer

Most users go from goal to a live campaign in under five minutes, because the AI drafts the creatives, targeting and structure and you approve them. What takes longer is performance settling down after launch — see the question on results below.

Question 7

Can I export my leads or connect a CRM?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Today your enquiries live in the lead centre inside the app, where they're captured, filtered and organised for you. Export and CRM integrations are on the roadmap, and we'd rather not put a date on them until we're confident of one.

Is there a minimum age to use SocialMetis?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The app and its services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we find it.

Does SocialMetis only run paid ads, or organic posts too?

Accepted Answer

Both. Alongside campaigns, SocialMetis plans your organic Facebook and Instagram content: it analyses your business, runs keyword research, suggests topics for the week ahead, writes the posts, and schedules them for publishing.

How does it decide what to post each week?

Accepted Answer

The same research that informs your ads informs your content. It starts from what your business does and who it sells to, layers in keyword research for your category, and turns that into a set of weekly topics you can accept, swap out, or rewrite before anything is drafted.

Do I have to approve every single post?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want to. By default a scheduled post waits for your approval before it publishes. If reviewing every post becomes the bottleneck, you can switch on auto-approve and let the schedule run — that's a setting you turn on deliberately, not the default.

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

The app is free to download, and planning is free — business research, keyword and competitor analysis, targeting, budget and your weekly content plan cost nothing. Paid plans start at ₹1,699 a month and are what let you publish and schedule. Your ad budget is separate on top, starting from ₹300 a day.

Who is the ad spend actually billed to?

Your own ad account. Facebook and Google charge you directly using the payment method already on that account — the money doesn't route through us, and we don't mark it up. You set the daily budget and can change or pause it whenever you like.

Is there a contract, minimum term, or lock-in?

Accepted Answer

No minimum term and no agency retainer. Plans are monthly — change tier or cancel whenever you want, and you keep access until the month you've paid for runs out. Your campaigns live in your own Meta and Google ad accounts, so stopping your plan doesn't take them away from you.

What happens if I use up my creatives or posts mid-month?

Accepted Answer

Nothing stops working. You can add extra creatives at ₹78 each and extra posts at ₹59 each without changing plan, or move up a tier if the bigger allowance is better value. Campaigns already running are unaffected either way.

What happens to my campaigns if I stop using SocialMetis?

Accepted Answer

Under our data policy you are the controller of your campaign and audience data. ASH&AD acts as a processor for campaigns, and Meta and Google act as controllers or joint controllers for whatever runs on their platforms. Disconnecting SocialMetis does not hand your advertising over to us.

What does the AI actually do before it suggests a campaign?

It researches your business to understand what you sell and to whom, runs keyword research, analyses what competitors in your category are doing, then proposes targeting and a budget, builds the campaign structure, and generates ad copy and image creatives. Each of those is a step you can inspect, rather than one opaque output.

Can I edit what the AI generates, or is it take-it-or-leave-it?

You can edit. Everything the AI produces — copy, creatives, targeting, budget — is a suggestion until you approve it. Preview it, change what you don't like, then publish.

What if the AI writes something wrong or off-brand?

Accepted Answer

Then it stays a draft. Nothing publishes without your approval, so an off-brand suggestion never reaches an audience. Once a campaign is live, the analytics agent recommends changes rather than applying them silently — you apply a recommendation in one click, or ignore it.

How long before I see meaningful results?

Accepted Answer

Longer than setup takes, and that gap is normal rather than a sign something is broken. Meta's delivery system puts every new ad set through a learning phase, and Meta's own documentation describes an ad set as leaving that phase after roughly 50 optimisation events in a seven-day window. Numbers before that point swing a lot and are easy to over-read. That is how the ad platforms work — it isn't a guarantee about your results.

What happens if Facebook or Google rejects my ad?

It can happen to anyone. Every ad is reviewed by the platform against its own advertising policies, and rejections are common for restricted categories, unsupported claims, or image rules. That review belongs to Meta and Google rather than to us — the rejection reason comes back from the platform, and the ad can be revised and resubmitted.

Is my data safe?

SocialMetis connects securely to your Facebook, Instagram, and ad accounts, and is compliant with GDPR and India's DPDP Act. Data is hosted on AWS with encryption and access control, and international transfers use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. Our privacy policy states plainly that we do not sell personal data. We share it with service providers under data processing agreements — hosting, payment, analytics and communication vendors — and with Meta and Google to deliver the campaigns you approve. The full vendor list is available on request.

Question 24

Is my business data used to train your AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Your business information, campaign data and audience data are used to run and optimise your own advertising — they are not used as training data for our AI models.

Question 25

How do I delete my data, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

You can request deletion at any time. Once the request is verified, your profile, campaigns, and audience data are deleted within 30 days, and backups are overwritten within 30 to 90 days. Accounts inactive for 24 months are deleted automatically. We keep campaign records for up to 7 years only where they're needed for audit and billing, plus the minimum required by law.
